Dr. Daniel Wortel-London is a historian of urban economic development and a visiting scholar at New York University’s Urban Democracy Lab. A former National Jefferson Fellow and Louis Galambos National Fellow in Business and Politics, his research has been featured in Dissent, the Washington Post, Slate, the Journal of Urban History, and other outlets.
