Thalles Vichiato Breda

Thalles Vichiato Breda is a sociologist and currently a PhD candidate at the postgraduate program in sociology at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), in Brazil, and at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, in Germany. He is a researcher within the research network SAGEMM (Social Activities, Gender, Markets and Mobilities from Below (Latin America)) and the assistant editor of Contemporânea – Journal of Sociology at UFSCar. His interests lie in urban sociology, the production of urban space, social policies, social management, housing and housing movements, and land occupation.
