Joseph Palis

Joseph Palis is professor of geography at the University of the Philippines Diliman. He researches counter-cartographies, geohumanities, media geographies, and island and archipelagic geographies. He is the director of the Storytelling Lifeworlds: Geonarratives and Story Maps project and co‑editor of New Geographies of Music 2: Music in Urban Tourism, Heritage Political and Place-Making (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024).
